February 23, 2009 I'm excited to announce an art opening featuring my work in Boston's south end. The show will be at Michelle Willey - an upscale home goods boutique store (www.michellewilley.com) from April 4th through May 24th. The opening reception will be on April 10th, from 6pm to 8pm. November 18, 2008 The Jason Varitek Autographs are in! I've got a total of 25 available, so if your interested make sure to check it out in the "Store" area. Jason signed them with a metallic silver sharpie and i think it looks really nice on the screen-print surface. I'm excited about how these look! Each autographed print has a special authenticated hologram as well as a certificate of authenticity. November 4, 2008 I'm excited to add a new product to my line of limited edition screen-prints. I've been fortunate enough to have Jon Lester sign 20 of my prints, and now they are available on my website. I think these are really unique items and I'm excited to make them available to you. A limited edition hand made piece of art, signed by the player it portrays is much nicer than a signed photograph I think. Each autographed print has a special authenticated hologram as well as a certificate of authenticity. Check out the store link to see the autographed prints. October 16, 2008 If you happened to have missed the Loren and Wally show interview on Wed morning, its on the web. You will have to forward to "10.17" time stamp with the bottom slide bar. Here is the link to the interview October 12, 2008 I'll be doing an interview on the Loren and Wally show on 105.7 FM this wed Oct 15th. I'll be in the studio and on the air somewhere around 7:30-8am, so if your driving to work, check it out, I believe they will be doing a few giveaways with my prints. David Ortiz, Cole Hamels, Kosuke Fukudome and Albert Pujols. Check them out in the store section. Also, I should have some authenticated autographed Vartiek prints available in the next few weeks so keep an eye out! September 4, 2008 New Posters are in! I had the relatively new "Fenway Park" design printed into an affordable offset poster. Also if you happened to have missed out on the original David Ortiz design, now is your chance to own it in poster form. I think these make a great addition to any dorm room! Check out the new posters here in the store... August 15, 2008 Three new prints are ready including my first non-Red Sox designs. The Phillies fans and players really seemed to be a good fit for this style of art so I decided to start there. Chase Utley and Ryan Howard are the first of hopefully many Phillies players I'll portray. I'm really excited about this and I'm hoping Phillies fans will be too! Check out a great mention I received in a Philadelpia area blog: The 700 Level I can always use the help getting the word out on my work - I dont have money for advertising, so any word of mouth, blog mention, myspace posting...anything really. It all helps. Thanks! July 22, 2008 I'm always looking for ways to keep my costs down so I can pass along savings to customers. There are a couple of things I've been able to do in regards to shipping costs. I ship Priority mail and typically charge a flat $12. From now on shipping will be $10 and if you buy three or more prints, shipping is FREE. ALSO - I'm going to be sending out an email soon with a discount code for 10% off all screen-prints, just to reward people for being on the email list. If you are interested in purchasing something, please get on the email list and ill send the code over to you. June 23, 2008 There are a couple of new prints available - Jon Lester and the re-release (and final run) of the Twin Bombers. Through Jon Lester's agent, I was able to donate the first 20 of this edition to him to be auctioned off for his charity. Hopefully it will raise some money that will help some people in some small way. Also, I have posters now! for $10 you can get one of four posters. Check them out in the store section. June 9, 2008 FATHERS DAY GIFTS! When shopping this year for fathers day, consider giving him one of my hand made limited edition screen-prints. If he is a Red Sox fan, this is something unique that you cant get anywhere else. Its something that looks great in a frame and he can put in his favorite spot. June 5, 2008 After a long wait, I've got the first officially licensed prints available. Ellsbury, Fenway and the official version of the Varitek design. I'm working on getting final approval on the Lester design so that will be up next. Stickers and posters are due in within a week too - so stay tuned, I hope to soon have alot of things to offer here! May 22, 2008 Yes, I've got a Lester print in the works and for consistency - I'm using the same color scheme as the Buchholz "no-hitter" print. It will be a smaller edition than the rest so keep an eye out. The Fenway design is now approved by MLB and im printing day and night to get it out there. Stay tuned! May 6, 2008 I'm already getting alot of inquiries due to the Dunkin promotion, so I wanted to put a quick note on here about forthcoming prints. I currently have 6 designs going through the approval process with Major League Baseball. I anticipate this taking a few weeks, so if your interested in a print listed in the "Store" section, make sure you get on the email list. Email me here to do so. May 2, 2008 I've got some exciting news, for the last few months I've been working on a sizable promotion for Dunkin Donuts. I've designed 4 posters that will be available in stores all around New England starting on May 7th! I'm hoping that the exposure from the website will enable me to build a larger collection of designs that will be available to the public. Click here to see the Dunkin website announcement. Also, Through Dunkin's contacts I've been able to secure an official license from MLB as well as MLBPA. In the next month or so I'm hoping to have a number of offically licensed silk-screen prints available for purchase right here on the website. April 23, 2008 After a bit of a delay, I am proud to announce that the Rooters prints are finally completed and available! A collaboration with the producers of the documentary "Rooters, The Birth of Red Sox Nation" and Sully's Tees, these are my first MLB officially licensed Prints! There are three prints, chronicling the history of Red Sox Nation and fan fervor that has fueled the team's success for over a century. Check them out on the Store page. Click on the link to Sully's to purchase. These were designed as a set, so there is a discount on the purchase of the entire series. March 26, 2008 On April 8th, The Red Sox play their first home game of 2008. In honor of this I'll be having a "showing" of sorts at Redbones, the famous BBQ restaurant in Davis Square (Somerville, MA). The owners have hung a dozen or more of my prints all over the bar area and offered to have free appetizers from 5pm until 7pm. I'll be there well before and after that time. So if you happen to live in the area, come by see some work in person, and have a pint of beer with me. I would love to see you there! I'm in the process of applying for a license to sell official merchandise! I'm not sure how long the process takes, and there is no guarantee, but I'm hopefull so keep your fingers crossed.
