- Install the seals after preparing them – You can find a variety of seal designs used in RC. Some people install them at the bottom of the shock body, which they store in a cap. Others fix the shocks at the bottom or inside the body. After the removal of burrs and flashing from the molded-plastic pieces, install the parts carefully, according to the instructions.
- Install the pistons – When you are installing pistons on the shock shafts, make sure that the E-clips are at either side of the disk. A small flat screwdriver snaps the clips in one place.
- Shaft installation – When you install a shaft, you need to push them slowly to protect the O-rings from damage.
